Thx Picant,yes i´m an active player,but the only problem is:everything laggs.I know u gys play always on dfb but my ping is 150,on it, and on the UTF 2.1 server my ping is even higher.

i got  144 ping on dfb
still can play there

2.Hammer Jumps r impossible

Well you gotta get used to the ping grim, I'm used to a ping of 200 or 250, it doesn't make it so impossible to play or either hammer jump.

keep in mind, that a fair amount of our members reside in europe, and play on servers over there. i'm pretty sure you're aware of that. i occasionally spec euro servers, but rearely play. i'm way too far across the states. maybe if i lived on the east coast. but i do not.

and as if any thing could get any lamer, i'm back on the old 17" crt, and my game resolution is back down to 800*600 in the name of decent framerates. it was weird, because the 19" widescreen lcd i was using got better framerates at a higher resolution than this monitor.

Answer 1: no laggin isnt fun but it dosnt lag as much
Answer 2: lies! it's easy to do hammerjumps for american server

i HAVE done hammer jumps, there were witnesses. the point is 800*600 game resolution on a 17 inch flat crt in the name of acceptable frames. i really believe it looks worse than some of the picmip screenshots i have seen...

And yeah Gab has like 4123432 ping and hammerjumps by me, but then I go super hax and shoot him down with the sniper, then he goes and rolls over and cries like a Gerbil.

yeah in the good ol' days i couldve hammerjumped witha ping up to 280, more that i just killed myself with a hammer like a dumbass..

its all possible once youre used to it..

don't think for an instant that ou've got to play on stateside servers solely to appease the curiousity of our members. we can stimulate our members curiousity quite well on our own you know.
